Product description
Two participants maximum can be connected using different connector types. The outlet may be installed in cable ducts as well as in flush or surface mounting boxes with arbitrary positions. Simplex/Duplex and Breakout cables as well as Mini-Breakout cables can be connected and strain relieved.
For cable and fibre reserves sufficient space is available with controlled and restricted radii. The automatic height adjustment and the cover dimensions of 50x50 mm ensures the combination with most of the standard switching programmes.
The benefits of fibre optic networks can be fully used only if the fibre optic cable is installed up to the subscriber’s desk (Fibre To The Desk). Network installations via FO cables require plugable, repeatable at constant function and robust connections between the cables installed in the channel and the subscriber cables. The adaptors have to be safely fixed and protected in a wall outlet or in a floor tank in a way that the connected plugs can be easily connected and disconnected as well as to ensure a minimum radius of 25 mm of the fibre cables.
If splice connections in conjunction with FO pigtails are used, storage spaces for splices and reserve loops as well as strain reliefs must be provided. Even in case of of Breakout cable or Mini-Breakout cable applications strain relief means and bending radius limiting should be available. For simple outlets containing covers and adapter carriers these requirements are not fullfilled.
