FO Fibre Pigtails

Product description FO pigtails with connectors assembled on one end are mainly used for distribution of multifibre cables by means of splicing technology. For optimized splice preparation we use loose-buffered fibres providing stripping up to 1 m in one step. Fibre pigtails are assembled with connectors without strain relief, as patch panels and splice boxes offer sufficient environmental protection. The quality of connectors and fibres used determines to a great degree the insertion loss and reflexion performance of the transmission line. Factory-assembled FO pigtails guarantee exceptional optical and mechanical characteristics and a long lifetime due to use of optimized components and of a constantly controlled manufacturing process.
